Thank you for visiting our site. We, Kyle and Shanna Grote have owned and operated Backyard BBQ since 2006. We have 4 beautiful children; Sadie Darlene, Sam Brandon, Sylvi Mae, and Scotti Ann. We feel honored to be part of this community and have had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful customers who have helped grow this once small place into a something we could have only dreamed of years ago. Kyle is originally from Bryan, TX and is the son of Warren and Susan Grote. Shanna is locally raised and the daughter of Dee Mahan and Earl Brown. We moved here from College Station in 2006 to take on the challenge of owning a restaurant and haven't looked back. Since then, our family has grown and we have aged significantly but our love for food is still alive and well. Owning a place that is always chalked full of familiar faces is so much fun. We hope that you take time to visit us and get to meet our family and friends.
